Join the Buckley, Antec Controls, and the Greenheck Engineering teams at Buckleys new training facility for a workshop series focused on the design of critical lab spaces.
Buckley recently moved our offices to 1099 Hingham Street, Rockland, MA and we are so excited to host the first workshop in our 40 person training room. Seating is limited and will be on a first come, first served basis. Lunch will be provided for those attending in person.

- System basics including virtual lab demo
- Overview of Exhaust Fan Styles
- Nozzle types – Dilution, High Plume, Variable Geometry (Virtual Lab)
- Operation Options – N+1 vs N-1, Fan Qty optimization for Energy Purposes
- Best Practices to Reduce Sound, Vibration and Energy Usage, Guy-Wires, Structural Support
1:00 PM – Session 3: Room Pressurization Solutions for Critical Spaces with Antec Controls
- Understand the difference between open loop and closed loop controls
- Determine what type of control loop a given air valve technology uses
- Identify the design and operational features of different venturi valves and high accuracy terminal units in the market
- Review applications of each type of control strategy
2:00 PM – Session 4: Lab Exhaust Fan Control Strategies with Greenheck
- How the exhaust fan system works with the lab controls
- Sequences of operation for efficient fan operation
- Effective solutions for unique operation conditions

Matt Gaedtke

Matt has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, Madison and an MBA from University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.
Matt participates on ASHRAE TC9.10 Laboratory Systems, is a member of NE Wisconsin ASHRAE, and is Chairman of AMCA International’s statistical program.
Matt has 25 years’ experience in sales, marketing, and applications in the HVAC industry and has presented on a variety of HVAC subjects including fan fundamentals, laboratory/hospital exhaust systems, enclosed parking facility exhaust, ammonia exhaust systems, and fan efficiency.
