insulated flex-duct operator

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Location: Hanover, MA

Requirements/Description:

  • Produce Insulated Fabric Flex product using the insulation flex machine, works with semi-automated machines hand tools, various rolled sheet goods, and fiberglass Insulation.
  • Reads work order and selects appropriate size equipment to set up machine to produce the correct product based on work order
  • Loads unwinds with new rolls of insulation materials, type 3, or 4 fabric flex, Poly or metallic outer covering as needed
  • Moves controls, buttons, or levers, foot pedals to start flex machine and regulate speed of materials run.
  • Measures and cuts insulated flex using tape measures, knives, or metal shears.
  • Runs Insulated Fabric Flex material to correct length, boxes them based on work order and stock requirements.
  • Will be working with insulation and buck-duct operations as needed.
  • Produce Buck Duct on Buck Duct machine based on production order
  • Work with rolled aluminum coils to feed the buck duct machine
  • Reads work order and selects appropriate size equipment to set up machine to produce the correct product based on work orders
  • Remove extra materials from area when finished with work order, following safety procedures.
  • Verifies quality and correct size measurements
  • Operate Fork Lift and Hand Trucks
  • Must be safety oriented 
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and conduct cycle counts

Ability to lift 50 – 60 pounds
